<p>About the Role</p><p>The <b>Department Head - Hospitality &amp; Industry Partnerships</b> will lead the development of an industry-connected hospitality school that prepares students for careers across hospitality, tourism, luxury, events, and experience-led industries.</p><p>This role combines academic leadership with strong industry engagement to build a future-ready learning ecosystem through internships, apprenticeships, live industry projects, and placement partnerships.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Academic Leadership</p><ul><li>Support curriculum implementation and continuous improvement.</li><li>Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty members.</li><li>Drive teaching excellence and academic quality.</li><li>Ensure strong student learning outcomes.</li></ul><p>Industry Engagement</p><ul><li>Build and strengthen relationships with leading hospitality brands.</li><li>Develop internship and apprenticeship opportunities.</li><li>Facilitate live industry projects and experiential learning initiatives.</li><li>Foster long-term partnerships with industry stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Employability &amp; Placements</p><ul><li>Build and manage a strong placement pipeline.</li><li>Engage recruiters across hospitality, tourism, luxury, and related sectors.</li><li>Organize career fairs, networking events, and employer engagement activities.</li><li>Expand the institution's employer network to enhance student career opportunities.</li></ul><p>Programme Development</p><ul><li>Identify emerging trends in the hospitality and tourism industry.</li><li>Recommend new programs and specializations aligned with industry needs.</li><li>Support the development of innovative, experience-driven learning initiatives.</li></ul><p>External Relations</p><ul><li>Represent the institution at hospitality forums, conferences, and industry events.</li><li>Build strategic partnerships with hotels, luxury brands, tourism organizations, and other industry partners.</li><li>Strengthen the institution's visibility within the hospitality ecosystem.</li></ul><p>Ideal Candidate</p><ul><li>10-15 years of experience in hospitality education leadership or the hospitality industry.</li><li>Strong network within the hospitality, tourism, luxury, or events sectors.</li><li>Proven experience in building internship and placement programs.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with industry partners.</li><li>Passion for experiential learning and industry-integrated education.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KvkMcby2JQxPFhVxaH9DfMF3f35k9YaBq" width="0" height="0" />
