Job Description

Role: Lead Quality Management Function: Product Management & Learning Innovation Department: Content Development Location: Bengaluru Role Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for setting and upholding quality standards for all learner-facing content across BITS Pilani, Digital's Learning Division programmes. This role serves as the final quality authority for content developed by internal teams and external partners, ensuring learning content is instructionally sound, consistent, current, and ready for delivery. Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Content Quality Authority: Serve as the final quality authority for all learner-facing content and learning experiences, reviewing learning outcomes, content, assessments, multimedia, live-session materials, and LMS experience for quality and alignment. Quality Standards and Frameworks: Establish and maintain quality standards, review frameworks, templates, and acceptance criteria, and lead pre-launch quality and readiness reviews. Learning Design: Strengthen learning design, assessment alignment, content sequencing, content scalability frameworks, and learner engagement, providing clear and actionable feedback. Content Repository Governance: Oversee content repository standards, including classification, metadata, version control, approvals, and archival. Monitoring, Analytics & Reporting: Monitor learner feedback, content metrics, and post-launch issues to identify improvement opportunities. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Apply AI-assisted approaches to improve content design, quality review, maintenance, and reuse, and drive innovation through experimentation and continuous improvement Skill and Ability Requirements Strong understanding of learning design, instructional design, assessment design, and digital content quality. Ability to review both individual learning assets and the complete learner journey. Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail. Ability to create practical and scalable QA and learning and content design systems. Strong stakeholder management and ability to uphold quality standards. Comfort working with learner data, content metrics, and support-ticket trends. Familiarity with AI-assisted content design, review, and workflow automation. Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and decision-making ability. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in learning design, instructional design, and content quality assurance, while maintaining high standards of learner engagement, scalability, and continuous improvement. Required Experience 5–7 years of experience in learning design, instructional design, content quality, digital learning, curriculum development, or online programme development. Experience designing, reviewing, or quality-assuring online, blended, or live learning experiences. Experience working with faculty, SMEs, instructional designers, content validators, and external vendors. Experience developing QA frameworks, design standards, templates, or acceptance criteria. Experience with learning management systems and LMS-based course design. Experience using GenAI tools for learning design, content development, or quality review would be an advantage. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Media, Communications, or a related field.
