About the Role -

Future Market Insights (FMI) is looking for a Content Writer & Editor with strong Quality Control (QC) skills to join our content and research team.

The ideal candidate should have excellent command of English, strong writing and editing skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to create, review, and refine high-quality content while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and editorial standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research-driven writing, editing, proofreading, and ensuring content quality across multiple projects and industries.

Key Responsibilities -

• Create well-researched, engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content across multiple industries and topics.
• Write and edit website content, market research-related content, reports, articles, blogs, summaries, and other marketing/editorial materials.
• Edit, proofread, and refine content for grammar, clarity, readability, structure, and consistency.
• Conduct detailed Quality Checks (QC) to ensure content meets internal editorial and quality standards.
• Verify factual accuracy, data consistency, terminology, formatting, and overall content quality.
• Ensure content follows the required tone, style, formatting, and brand guidelines.
• Identify and correct grammatical, factual, structural, and contextual errors before publication.
• Review content prepared by other writers and provide constructive feedback wherever required.
• Ensure content is original, relevant, reader-friendly, and aligned with the intended audience.
• Collaborate with Research Analysts, Consultants, SEO, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Contribute to improving internal content, editing, and QC processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications -

• 2–3 years of professional experience in Content Writing, Editing, Proofreading, or Quality Control.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and proofreading skills.
• Hands-on experience in content writing and editing.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to identify grammatical, factual, formatting, and contextual errors.
• Good understanding of SEO-friendly content practices.
• Ability to research topics independently and convert information into clear, structured content.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience in Market Research, B2B, Consulting, Publishing, Digital Marketing, or a research-driven organization .
• Experience working with long-form reports, research articles, industry reports, or business content.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and content optimization practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted content and editing tools responsibly.
• Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress is an advantage.
