Multidisciplinary Creative Designer – Weddings & Branding

Ru Collective is looking for a multidisciplinary creative who enjoys wearing multiple hats and bringing ideas to life across different formats.

This entry level role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable designing a brand identity, creating illustrations, editing a reel, or adding motion to static designs. We care less about job titles and years of experience, and more about your ability to think creatively, solve problems, and produce strong work.

What You'll Do

• Design wedding invitations, stationery and event collateral
• Develop creative concepts and visual directions for weddings and events
• Create custom illustrations, motifs, monograms, patterns and visual assets
• Design social media content, brand assets and presentations
• Assist with branding and visual identity projects
• Edit videos for social media and marketing campaigns
• Create basic motion graphics and animations
• Support creative ideation and campaign development
• Adapt designs across both digital and print formats
• Work across different visual styles, clients and industries

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, layout, typography, composition and visual hierarchy
• Strong illustration skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Proficient in Drawing & other Artistic skills (Procreate)
• Basic to intermediate skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro or equivalent tools
• Ability to adapt to different visual styles and industries
• Strong attention to detail and ownership over your work
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Contract & Potential Full-Time Opportunity

This role will begin with a 3-month contract period , which will serve as an initial probationary period for both you and the team to work together, understand expectations, and assess overall fit.

At the end of the 3 months, based on performance, contribution, and mutual fit, there is potential for the role to transition into a full-time position with Ru Collective .
