Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer (MERN) with strong hands-on experience building production-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 5–6+ years of professional full-stack development experience and be comfortable taking ownership of features from frontend and backend development through deployment and optimization.

You will work across MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js , contributing to system architecture, API development, integrations, performance optimization, and overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security using JWT, OAuth, RBAC, and related best practices.
• Build clean, reusable, and responsive UI components using React.js.
• Develop efficient frontend logic and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including payments, notifications, payroll, and identity verification.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and cloud deployments.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, production issues, and system performance bottlenecks.
• Take ownership of features from concept through development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the MERN stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / ES6+.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, API lifecycle, and system design.
• Strong backend architecture and server‑side development skills.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, version control, and clean coding practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with international teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with WebSockets.
• Experience working with queues and schedulers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Experience working in startups or building scalable SaaS platforms.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
