Entry Level AML Investigator

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented AML Investigator to support customer activity reviews and investigations within a financial services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates interested in compliance, banking, or financial services. No prior AML, KYC, or fraud experience is required. Training will be provided.

Position Details

• Location: New York, NY - 5 days per week onsite
• Pay Rate: $23/hour
• Duration: 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Review transaction alerts and customer activity.
• Research account information and investigate unusual activity.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with customer reviews and information verification.
• Conduct research using internal systems and public sources.
• Escalate findings when additional review is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must complete and pass an Excel assessment with a score of 75% or higher .
• Must provide two professional references , which must be completed through Robert Half within 5 business days .
