This position offers:
- Competitive guaranteed compensation
- Additional commission / performance-based earning opportunity
- $5,000 Retention Bonus , paid over time

What You'll Do
As an important member of the clinical team, you'll partner closely with the doctor to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures
- Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
- Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)
- Periodontal maintenance
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal and oral-health assessments
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Review and update patient medical histories
- Educate patients regarding preventive care and home-care techniques
- Identify and communicate potential restorative and periodontal needs
- Collaborate closely with the doctor on comprehensive treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and sterilization protocols
- Create a comfortable, professional, and personalized experience for every patient

Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active South Carolina Dental Hygiene License, or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain
Preferred
- Previous clinical hygiene experience
- Experience in a fee-for-service or comprehensive dental environment
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Experience with digital charting and dental practice-management software
