In this role, you will work with a wide variety of prominent and highly successful clients, handling tax planning and review of individual, trust, foundation, partnership, and corporate tax returns, including consolidated and multi-state returns. As a Tax Senior, you will also review federal and state quarterly estimated payments, assist with tax audits, and conduct light research projects. Strong communication skills and a polished demeanor are essential as you will interact with clients, audit managers, and tax staff.
Job Responsibilities:Reviewing individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns in accordance with firm procedures and policiesCompleting tasks in a timely mannerAddressing roadblocks by asking appropriate questions and seeking counselSetting effective work assignment prioritiesEnsuring that job execution, documentation, and completion adhere to required policies and proceduresProducing clear, concise, thorough, and professional-quality results
Requirements:An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or lawCPA, MS in Taxation, and/or LLM preferred (or in process)Approximately 5 years of experience working in tax for a public accounting firm, or similar industry experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills
