Receptionist - eye hospital

<p> Location: Bengaluru </p> <p> Department: Patient Services / Reception </p> <p> Employment Type: Full-Time <br />Role Overview </p> <p> We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients visiting our eye hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth patient experience by managing appointments, registrations, inquiries, and coordinating with clinical teams. <br />Key Responsibilities Patient Reception </p> Assist patients with registration and check-in procedures. Guide patients through consultation, diagnostic, and surgery workflows. Address patient queries and direct them to the appropriate department. Appointment Management Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments. Coordinate doctor schedules and patient flow. Manage follow-up appointments and reminders. Communication Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, timings, and procedures. Handle patient concerns courteously and escalate issues when required. Billing &amp; Documentation Collect consultation and procedure payments. Generate receipts and maintain transaction records. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information entered into the hospital management system. <br />Must-Have Skills Excellent communication skills in Kannada and English Pleasant personality and professional demeanor Strong customer service orientation Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry) Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment Good organizational and coordination skills <br />Preferred Qualifications Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, hospital receptionist, customer service executive, or front desk associate Experience in a hospital, clinic, diagnostic center, or healthcare setting is preferred
