Where You Will Work:

By applying to the following application, you will be applying for all Mercy Adult Inpatient units listed below.

2 North/Mercy Horizons: 16-bed Med/Surg/Tele Observation unit combined with an 11-bed voluntary medical detox unit (benzo, ETOH, and opiates).

3 North: 31-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit with a renal focus

4 North: 29 bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit with Heart Failure focus

5 North: 26- bed Surgical/Tele unit specializing in general surgery, ortho, and urology

6 South: 34-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit specializing in all types of med/surg issues

7 North/South: 22- bed Ortho surgery unit combined with a 26-bed Med/Surg/tele and ortho overflow unit. Specializing in Hip replacements, knee replacements, Shoulder replacements, and spine surgery.

ADTU (Admission/Discharge/Transfer Unit): 12 bays Med/Surg short length of stay

Expectations We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
