Role Description

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements for client entities. This role involves handling GST, TDS, and Income Tax return filings, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the finalisation of accounts. The Accountant will collaborate with consulting teams to provide accurate financial data, assist in statutory and tax audits, and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for client entities
• Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax return filings
• Assist in the finalisation of accounts, including reconciliations
• Support statutory and tax audits
• Maintain ledgers and prepare financial statements
• Coordinate with consulting teams to provide accurate financial data for client projects
• Maintain proper documentation to support compliance and audit requirements

Qualifications

• B.Com / CA Inter / CA Dropout or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in a consulting or accounting firm environment preferred
