What You'll Do

1. Manage Accounts Receivable

Monitor outstanding invoices, balances and day-to-day AR activities while keeping financial information accurate and up to date.

2. Communicate with U.S. Customers & Brokers

Connect through calls and emails to follow up on payments, understand payment status and resolve payment-related queries.

3. Work with U.S. Freight Documentation

Review Rate Confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Delivery (PODs) to ensure information is complete and accurate.

4. Resolve Payment & Invoice Issues

Identify invoice mismatches, short payments, missing documents and other discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve them.

5. Manage AR Aging & Follow-ups

Monitor aging reports, prioritize outstanding accounts and identify cases requiring additional follow-up or escalation.

6. Reconcile Payments

Review incoming payments, match them against outstanding invoices and accurately update the relevant ERP or factoring systems.

7. Collaborate Across Teams

Work with customers, brokers, clients and internal teams to keep communication clear and issues moving toward resolution.

8. Maintain Accurate Reporting

Keep AR reports, collection trackers, payment records and communication logs accurate and organized.

9. Identify Risks Early

Spot potential payment delays, disputes and collection risks and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.

10. Support the Finance Team

Assist with month-end activities, audits and financial reporting when required.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in Accounts, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Collections or a related area
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and accountability
• Willingness to work the U.S. night shift
• Willingness to work on-site from our Bengaluru office

Fresh graduates as well as candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
