Position Reports to: Head of PMO – Global Operations

Role Summary

LifeStyles Healthcare is seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead strategic infrastructure, manufacturing, equipment, and environmental sustainability projects across its global manufacturing network.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex capital projects involving plant infrastructure upgrades, machinery installation and commissioning, manufacturing expansion initiatives, environmental compliance projects, and operational transformation programmes.


This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Global Project teams to ensure successful project delivery across multiple sites and regions.


The ideal candidate will have significant experience within Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing industries , with a proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering and operational transformation projects.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end execution of infrastructure, equipment, and manufacturing transformation projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, quality requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives, regulatory standards, and operational requirements.
  • Drive project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement activities.


Infrastructure & Capital Projects

  • Manage facility expansion, plant upgrades, utilities enhancement, and manufacturing infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee installation, relocation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Coordinate with engineering contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements throughout project execution.


Machinery & Manufacturing Projects

  • Lead projects related to manufacturing equipment upgrades, automation, production capacity expansion, and process improvement.
  • Support machinery selection, procurement, FAT/SAT activities, qualification, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project implementation.


Environment & Sustainability Projects

  • Drive environmental improvement initiatives including energy optimisation, water conservation, waste reduction, and sustainability programmes.
  • Support projects involving environmental compliance, ESG goals, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with EHS teams to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and company standards.


Global Program Coordination

  • Coordinate project activities across multiple sites and regions.
  • Manage project interdependencies and ensure alignment with the global transformation roadmap.
  • Prepare project updates, KPI reporting, and executive-level presentations.
  • Participate in steering committee meetings and project governance reviews.


Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support business readiness and change management activities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.


Qualification & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7-12+ years of project management experience within Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare Manufacturing, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience managing:
  • Manufacturing infrastructure projects
  • Capital expenditure (Capex) projects
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
  • Plant expansion and facility upgrade projects
  • Environmental or sustainability improvement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and engineering project delivery.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in multi-site environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, planning, budgeting, and execution skills.


Preferred

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing machinery procurement, installation, validation, and operational handover.
  • Exposure to cleanroom, utilities, facility engineering, or manufacturing infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance, sustainability programmes, and EHS requirements.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience managing global or multi-region projects.
