Information Technology Engineer

JCW has partnered with a leading international bank to identify a Senior Engineer to provide hands-on technology support and ensure the reliable operation of US-hosted infrastructure, AWS cloud services, and locally hosted payment systems. Based in Washington, DC, this role sits within the Group Technology & Transformation Office and serves as a critical link between business users, Group Technology teams, and third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned infrastructure and IT operations professional with deep experience in the US banking sector. They are equally comfortable supporting end users day-to-day and leading disaster recovery planning, risk remediation, and audit activities. This individual operates with a high degree of ownership, manages incidents end-to-end through ITSM platforms, and ensures all technology services remain compliant with US banking regulatory expectations including OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC, and FFIEC requirements.
Key Qualifications10+ years of experience in banking technology, infrastructure operations, or IT service management, including mandatory US banking sector experienceCurrent AWS certification with hands-on experience supporting AWS and US-hosted infrastructure environmentsStrong background in end-user support, Windows administration, networking, backup and recovery, security controls, and US payment xzbcwsv systemsProven experience with ITSM platforms, incident and service request management, and SLA adherenceExperience supporting or leading disaster recovery planning, testing, and remediation activitiesFamiliarity with technology risk remediation, internal/external audits, and RCSA processesWorking knowledge of US banking technology regulatory guidance (OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC, FFIEC)USC or GC Holders Only
