Role: Data Protection (Netskope DLP)

Basic Qualifications

Minimum degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering (BE/B. Tech) or a related field. Experience: 5–7 years in data loss prevention, data protection, or related information security operations roles.

Mandatory Skill:

Data Protection (Netskope DLP), tune Data Loss Prevention policies and custom detection logic on the Netskope platform, custom DLP detection logic, particularly Regex, fingerprinting, EDM/IDM, document-type rules, and file-name patterns.

Highly Preferred

Experience designing DLP controls for proprietary, confidential, intellectual property, or other sensitive business information. Ability to translate business-sensitive data requirements into technical DLP detection rules and classifiers. Experience documenting technical configurations, test results, tuning decisions, and operational procedures.

Exposure to the broader Netskope SSE/SASE platform (e.g., CASB, SWG) and integration of DLP with SIEM or inciden

Certifications (Preferred)

Netskope role-based certifications (e.g., NCCSA — Netskope Certified Cloud Security Administrator). Comp TIA Security+. CISM and/or CISSP.
