Role Description
The Public Policy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The individual in this position will monitor legislative and regulatory developments, analyze their implications for clients, and prepare briefings, position papers, and policy recommendations. They will design and execute advocacy strategies, engage with government departments and regulatory bodies, and support client-facing discussions on public policy and compliance. The role involves coordinating cross-functional projects, collaborating with legal and tax teams, and managing timelines and deliverables for policy initiatives. The Public Policy Manager will also maintain stakeholder maps, track relevant consultations, and contribute to risk assessments and crisis response plans.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess expertise in Governmental Affairs and Government Relations, including experience engaging with public authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and familiarity with Legislative Relations to interpret laws, draft policy inputs, and assess regulatory impact.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to coordinate multi-stakeholder initiatives, manage deadlines, and deliver structured outputs.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear briefs, advocacy documents, and client-ready reports.
- Prior experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, consulting, or a related field; experience working with or within government institutions is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background such as public policy, law, economics, political science, business, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- High level of professional integrity, discretion, and capacity to handle sensitive information.
