Medical Director - Hematologist-Oncologist

What You'll Do:Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and longitudinal management of patients with malignant and benign hematologic/oncologic disordersPrescribe and oversee systemic therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatmentsParticipate in multidisciplinary tumor boards alongside surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, and supportive care teamsServe as physician leader for the local hematology-oncology programOversee provider engagement, workflow optimization, and care coordinationSupport recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of oncology providersMonitor performance metrics around access, quality, safety, and patient experienceRepresent the program at regional Cancer Service Line leadership meetingsPartner with hospital and administrative leadership on strategic and operational priorities
What You'll Bring:MD with active NY medical licenseBoard certified in Medical Oncology; board certified or eligible in HematologyMinimum 5 years of clinical experience in Medical Oncology/Hematology post-fellowshipPrior leadership experience (site director, medical director, or similar) strongly preferred
