Patient Coordinator(VS)

Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Anchorage, AK 99508(Onsite)
Contract Duration: 3+Months
Working hours: Day 4x10-Hour Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30)

Responsibilties:
The schedule includes alternating 10-hour shifts on Fridays and Mondays, 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, and coverage when the OR front desk caregiver is on PTO. . If a holiday falls on a scheduled shift, they would need to work that holiday.
OR Front Desk - Coordinates daily surgery schedule, communicates with OR Charge RN, staff surgeons, anesthesiologists
Watch the schedule / progression updates, and then call in the folks and coordinate etc.
Field discussions with surgeons all day long, along with phone calls in, alerting room turns / cleans some OR workflows, and calls to add things to the schedule (so are trained to schedule, but a subset of the day)
Sit with OR charge nurse and leads that are in and out through the day.
Option for conversation to perm staff if assignment is successful.
High School Diploma/GED Required
