• Lead and supervise all quantity surveying activities, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for mining infrastructure and construction projects.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and detailed cost estimates for civil works, earthworks, roads, buildings, drainage, and other mining facilities.
• Monitor project expenditures, analyze cost variations, and ensure that project costs remain within approved budgets.
• Review contractor and subcontractor quotations, evaluate tender submissions, and provide recommendations for contract awards.
• Manage contractual matters, including interim payment applications, variation orders, claims, and final account settlements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and contractors to verify quantities, progress measurements, and payment certifications.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, budget updates, and financial progress reports for project management.
