Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Job Description:
Performs software development and testing on a forward-looking team for private cloud solutions and microservices containerization and infrastructure development. The Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure participates in all phases of the Software lifecycle.
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes clusterDemonstrated proficiency with Containerization InfrastructureExperience with HelmExperience with container technologies such as Podman and K3sExperience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, and Kube-VipPerforms system-level testing, container and infrastructure evaluation, and related tasks and activities.Documents system test results, failure reports, and documentation deficiencies.Isolates root cause of problems with containers and infrastructure.Performs maintenance of system documents (updates and corrections).Ability to follow directions of system container and infrastructure engineering leads.Proficient with LINUX


Cloud Engineer – Containers and Infrastructure Desired Skills:
Experience with C++ and Java software developmentExperience deploying DevSecOps pipelines in Microsoft AzureAbility to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight when required.Ability to use technical information, tables, and drawings.Ability to perform system configuration or troubleshooting procedures related to containers and infrastructure.
Cloud Engineer – Containers and Infrastructure Additional Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.·Effective oral and written communication skills.·Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen. xzbcwsv
Location: Manassas, VA (Relocation Assistance Available)
Job Type: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
Start Date: Negotiable
Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000
