Job Profile:

The Factory Manager is responsible for leading overall plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing while meeting customer requirements and business objectives. The role focuses on operational excellence, people leadership, continuous improvement, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily factory operations to achieve production, quality, and financial targets.
• Drive operational excellence through resource optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and lead plant managers and cross-functional teams.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a strong safety culture and support employee development and training.
• Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
• Manage operational risks and lead crisis response activities when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in manufacturing and operations management, including prior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational performance.
• Understanding of quality systems, compliance requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing / Manufacturing Excellence experience.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience handling audits, risk management, and change management initiatives.
