These are contractual appointments, renewable at the end of every semester/term of the contract based on performance and institutional requirements . We are seeking candidates with expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Behavioral Economics, Econometrics, and Research Methods to contribute to both the undergraduate and M.Sc. Programs. Economics programs at introductory, intermediate, and advanced level s. While we welcome applicants from any field of economics, preference will be given to candidates with strong training in both theoretical and applied economics who can contribute to the department's growing strengths in teaching and applied resea rch. Key Responsi bilities The successful candidate will be exp ected to:1. Deliver high-quality, regular, on-campus teaching in one or more of the listed areas across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential, as this is a fully on-campus teaching respon sibility.2. Prepare and update course outlines, teaching materials, and student assessments in line with departmental requ irements.3. Adopt innovative, inclusive, and student-centered teaching p ractices.4. Hold dedicated office hours of at least 3–4 hours per week on campus to address student queries and provide academic support.5. Remain accessible for official communication via phone and email during working hours for all matters related to departmental and teaching responsi bilities. Qual ifications • A Master's degree in Economics with at least 55% marks (or equival ent grade).• NET/SET qualification in Economics conducted by UGC/CSIR, OR exemption from NET in accordance with UGC regulations (i.e., Ph.D. awarded in compliance with UGC norms).• A Ph.D. in Economics (completed or nearing completion) is strongly preferred.• Evidence of prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in one or more of the advertised co urse areas.• Demonstrated commitment to effective pedagogy and student engagement.
