Working across Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, DevOps, Security, QA, and other shared services, you will create alignment around priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery objectives. The role combines Agile leadership, facilitation, coaching, and delivery oversight in a complex software environment. You will use data and delivery metrics to improve flow, identify systemic obstacles, and strengthen predictability. This is an influential opportunity for an experienced Agile leader who thrives on connecting teams and continuously improving how software gets delivered.

\n Accountabilities:
  • Establish and mature the Agile Release Train operating model, including effective cadences, ceremonies, communication practices, and ways of working across participating teams.
  • Provide an end-to-end, high-level view of delivery timelines and dependencies to promote predictable execution across the Software ART.
  • Plan and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ensuring teams are aligned on objectives, priorities, dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Track PI objectives, delivery progress, risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies, escalating issues and coordinating mitigation as needed.
  • Facilitate ART-level events such as ART Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt sessions, and other forums that support alignment and transparency.
  • Identify and remove systemic impediments that affect multiple Agile teams or shared services.
  • Coordinate closely with Product Management, System/Solution Architecture, Engineering leadership, Scrum Masters, DevOps, Security, QA, and other stakeholders.
  • Improve delivery flow and predictability through Agile coaching, performance metrics, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate constructive resolution of conflicts, competing priorities, and cross-team delivery challenges.
  • Promote effective collaboration and accountability across teams while helping the organization mature its scaled Agile practices.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, operating practices, and overall software execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile delivery, such as Release Train Engineering, Senior Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Agile Coaching, with demonstrated experience working in scaled Agile environments.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple Agile teams and facilitating complex software delivery across an integrated technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and practical knowledge of integrated, end-to-end software systems.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating PI Planning and coordinating multi-team delivery, dependencies, risks, and objectives.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to build alignment across technical and business stakeholders and effectively navigate competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to identify systemic impediments and drive them toward resolution.
  • Experience using delivery metrics and Agile practices to improve flow, transparency, and predictability.
  • Knowledge of SAFe and Release Train Engineer practices; SAFe RTE or SPC knowledge/certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
  • Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfortable operating in a newly forming Agile organization and helping establish scalable processes, cadences, and ways of working.

Benefits

  • Salary: $83,000–$149,000, with placement within the range depending on experience and geographic location.
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical coverage.
  • Dental coverage.
  • Vision plans.
  • 401(k) benefits.
  • Potential commissions and/or incentive compensation depending on the role and applicable plan.
  • Opportunity to play a foundational role in establishing and maturing a new Software Agile Release Train.
  • Exposure to cross-functional engineering, product, architecture, DevOps, security, and QA organizations.
  • Opportunity to influence delivery practices, improve organizational agility, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Inclusive work environment committed to equal employment opportunities and a diverse workforce.
