Pay Rate: $45/hour C2C

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize Citrix infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 1912 or higher, Desktop as a Service (DaaS), and virtual desktop infrastructure in Azure or on-premises environments. Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is preferred.

The candidate should be able to hit the ground running, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure the performance, reliability, availability, and security of the Citrix environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain Citrix infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-related issues involving system performance, connectivity, and end-user experience.
• Plan and execute Citrix infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
• Manage and support Desktop as a Service (DaaS) and virtual desktop environments.
• Work with Azure and on-premises infrastructure to support virtual desktop solutions.
• Manage Group Policy and Active Directory configurations related to Citrix environments.
• Support Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Work with Nutanix infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
• Support secure browser products such as Island, SquareX, and Zscaler.
• Monitor and report on Citrix infrastructure performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and support procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to end users and IT staff.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT infrastructure or Citrix engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) version 1912 or higher.
• Experience supporting Desktop as a Service (DaaS) and virtual desktop environments.
• Knowledge of Azure or on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with Group Policy Management.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and/or Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Familiarity with Nutanix infrastructure.
• Experience with secure browser products such as Island, SquareX, or Zscaler.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Experience supporting Azure-based virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.

Work Schedule and Location

• Standard working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• On-site presence required 3 days per week.
• Preferred location: Omaha, Nebraska.
• Alternate location: Scottsdale, Arizona.
• Remote work is not available.
