Senior executive - technology transfer

Job Purpose:

Tech Transfer is responsible for supporting feasibility studies, pilot scale trials, and documentation required for smooth and compliant technology transfer from lab to plant.

Strategic Support feasibility and scale-up activities under guidance to ensure alignment with commercial objectives. Contribute to new process documentation and compliance as per regulatory and internal quality standards. Stay informed on basic industry technology trends relevant to tech transfer.

Operational Execute assigned experimental procedures and sampling for lab/pilot batches. Collect, compile, and record process data as per guidelines. Assist in reviewing and updating process documentation (BMR, PDR, etc.). Support demo runs, validation trials, and shop-floor observations. Coordinate with QA, QC, PRD, and production for sample movement, documentation, and process support. Maintain process documents, logs, and experimental records. Participate in troubleshooting and process improvement discussions. Assist in timely closure of CAPAs, deviations, and change controls related to tech transfer. Follow ESG policies and ensure compliance in daily operations.

Financial Assist in monitoring consumption of materials during pilot and trial batches to avoid wastage.

People Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments effectively. Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and training. Maintain discipline, ownership, and accountability during trials and documentation.

Experience : 5-7 years of relevant experience in process development or technology transfer.

Qualification : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent field.
