This inpatient facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population, with a support staff complement of 5-11 per 24-hour shift available to assist with clinical operations. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a 24-hour shift basis with 24-hour call responsibilities at this on-site facility. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient gastroenterology cases and performing ERCP and EUS, both of which are required components of this assignment. Call coverage is an integral part of this locum tenens engagement, and clinical documentation is maintained through the Epic EMR system. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
