The facility operates a hybrid CCU model in which hospitalists consult on CCU patients who transition to the floor, with CCU APP support available until approximately midnight. Clinicians will provide inpatient nocturnist coverage during night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on an on-site basis at this facility in Tennessee, on a preferred 7 on/7 off schedule. Responsibilities include responding to all overhead codes, managing adult inpatient medical conditions, and providing hybrid CCU coverage for patients who transition to the floor; a CCU APP is available until approximately midnight and an intensivist is always on call and reachable by phone. A swing shift APP is on site until 1:00 AM to assist with admissions, which average 12-15 per night. No procedures are required for this assignment, and no call responsibilities are required outside of assigned shift hours.
