Procurement Manager / Pharmaceutical Distribution Manager (DR Eligible)

A growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a Procurement Manager / Designated Representative (DR) to lead product sourcing, supplier relationships, procurement operations, and regulatory compliance activities in the U.S.This is a hands-on role that combines strategic business development with day-to-day purchasing and supplier management. This is a direct hire hire, permanent and 100% onsite role.

Procurement Manager / Designated Representative (DR) Key Responsibilities:Source and evaluate pharmaceutical, OTC, and dietary supplement productsDevelop relationships with manufacturers and authorized suppliersNegotiate purchasing agreements, pricing, and distribution partnershipsIdentify opportunities for exclusive or principal distribution rights in the U.S.Manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and order fulfillmentReview supplier invoices and coordinate payment processingServe as the company's Designated Representative (DR) for wholesale drug distribution operations in New JerseySupport regulatory compliance, licensing activities, inspections, and SOP developmentCollaborate closely with U.S. operations and international headquarters
Procurement Manager / Designated Representative (DR) Qualifications:Experience in pharmaceutical sourcing, procurement, or supplier managementStrong negotiation and commercial relationship-building skillsExperience evaluating new products and market opportunitiesHands-on experience managing purchasing activities and supplier coordinationEligible to serve as a New Jersey Designated Representative (DR), including:Minimum 2 years of qualifying managerial, supervisory, auditing, or compliance experience within a licensed pharmacy, wholesale distributor, pharmaceutical manufacturer, regulatory agency, or related organizationStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience securing distribution partnerships or exclusive distribution agreementsPrevious Designated Representative (DR) experienceKnowledge of DSCSA, PDMA, and pharmaceutical distribution regulationsExperience supporting regulatory inspections and licensing activitiesBachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
