Purpose:

To develop systems and processes to meet the placement objectives of the business school.

Job Outline:

As Director , you will be responsible for building the capacity and capability of your immediate team, team members, and the institution at large. You will work in tandem with all stakeholders of the school and external organisations, ensuring coherence and harmony. As Director , your role entails responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• To set up robust systems and processes for placements.
• To plan, implement, review, and continuously improve placement activities on an annual basis.
• To identify and recruit the right talent for the Placement Team.
• To devise and implement strategies and plans with the objective of maximising job offers and career opportunities for students.
• To devise and implement policies to map student competencies and career goals and provide suitable opportunities to meet their aspirations.
• To maintain and strengthen relationships with existing recruiters and onboard new recruiters.
• To regularly connect with students and student bodies to better understand their aspirations and career choices.
• To engage with alumni and enhance their participation in placement-related activities and initiatives.
• To enhance company participation in campus placement and internship drives by engaging with existing recruiters and onboarding new organisations.
• To ensure the robustness of the training process and students' readiness for internship and placement drives in coordination with the Training and Academic Departments.
• To align with the school's vision of providing career advancement opportunities to its students.
• To ensure and take ownership of the smooth execution of all activities related to internships and placements of the business school.
