Role Description The Senior Designer will play a key role in shaping Bronx Banco’s seasonal collections, translating the brand DNA into innovative, commercially viable designs that resonate with a global audience. This full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY involves leading concept development, creating sketches and technical drawings, developing color stories, and selecting fabrics and trims aligned with trend and brand direction. The role includes overseeing the design process from initial concept through sampling and final production, collaborating closely with pattern makers, technical designers, and production to ensure fit, quality, and construction standards are met. The Senior Designer will conduct market and trend research, analyze customer feedback and sales data, and adapt designs to maintain competitiveness and brand relevance. Regular responsibilities also include mentoring junior designers, presenting design concepts to leadership and key partners, and working cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive collections and visual stories.
Qualifications
Strong experience in fashion design, including concept development, sketching (hand and digital), and creating cohesive collections for contemporary womenswear.Proficiency with design and technical tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and relevant PLM or CAD systems.Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern making, fitting, and fabric behavior, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and production teams.Demonstrated ability to research and interpret global fashion trends, color, and silhouette directions, and translate them into market-ready designs aligned with brand identity.Experience working with international supply chains and vendors, including communication on samples, timelines, and quality standards.Excellent visual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to cross-functional stakeholders. xzbcwsv Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior team members, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in high-end
