This role offers the opportunity to practice full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology. Our department provides a depth of women's care with our subspecialty interests such as our newly initiated <b> Menopause &amp; Wellness Program </b>-the region's first initiative dedicated to individualized care for women during midlife and beyond, gynecologic oncology, high risk pregnancy care, and minimally invasive gynecologic with robotic treatment. </p><p> As part of <b> Southcoast Physicians Group </b> , you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. Join a team where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your contributions make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients and communities. </p><h3> Key Responsibilities </h3><ul><li> Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including preventive health, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum management. </li><li> Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infertility, and menopause-related concerns. </li><li> Perform gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques, in alignment with Southcoast Health's standards of excellence. </li><li> Support and help lead specialized initiatives such as the <b> Southcoast Menopause &amp; Wellness Program </b><b> , </b> providing expert guidance on hormonal changes, symptom management, and long-term health strategies. </li><li> Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care for patients across all life stages. </li><li> Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive strategies for bone, cardiovascular, and overall wellness. </li><li> Collaborate with Southcoast's multidisciplinary team of over 800 providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. </li><li> Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and adhere to quality and safety standards. </li><li> Stay current with clinical guidelines, best practices, and emerging research through continuing education and professional development. </li></ul><h3>* Participate in community outreach, seminars, and educational programs to promote awareness of women's health issues in the South Coast region. </h3><h3> Qualifications </h3><ul><li> Medical degree from an accredited institution. </li><li> Board certification in Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology. </li><li> Current state medical license and DEA registration. </li><li> Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills. </li></ul><h3> Benefits </h3><ul><li> Competitive salary with productivity-based incentives. </li><li> Comprehensive benefits package including: 41 days PTO and 6% match on retirement after 2 years. </li><li> Malpractice coverage of $2M / $6M. </li><li> Opportunity for relocation assistance/sign-on bonus. </li><li> Not for profit, under-served community site brings opportunities for loan forgiveness. </li><li> Continuing medical education (CME) allowance and paid time off. </li></ul><h3> Living and Working in the South Coast Region </h3><p> The South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island offers a unique blend of coastal charm, cultural richness, and professional opportunity.
