POSITION: Operations Coordinator – Full-Time, Salaried REPORTS TO: Sr. Director of Operations LOCATION: Soldier Field

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of Soldier Field by coordinating facility services, vendors, supplies, event-related needs, and stadium maintenance activities. This position works closely with the Operations team and internal partners to ensure the stadium is clean, prepared, safe, and event-ready. The Operations Coordinator will also assist with planning and executing concerts, sporting events, and other major events at Soldier Field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES

  • Coordinate and submit East Lake timesheets and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule Republic Services in coordination with Jackie to support stadium waste and facility needs.
  • Schedule Service Sanitation services in coordination with Jackie.
  • Coordinate cleaning services, including Levy Lights and HVAC scheduling and related facility needs.
  • Monitor inventory and order stadium supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, liners, cleaning supplies, and other operational supplies.
  • Coordinate stadium flag maintenance and flying programs, including:
  • Maintenance and replacement of flags.
  • Coordination of the stadium flying program.
  • Schedule recycling pickups in coordination with Jackie.
  • Serve as the PixMob liaison, coordinating event-related needs and communication.
  • Conduct and document daily walks of the stadium to identify maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and operational needs.
  • Assist with concert signage, including coordinating placement, removal, and event-specific signage needs.
  • Coordinate laundry services for overnight event flips, ensuring necessary items are cleaned and available for upcoming events.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and operational needs for concerts, Bears games, Fire games, and other major events.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure services are completed on schedule.
  • Track operational requests, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate issues to the appropriate Operations leadership.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and event-ready stadium environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; education in business, hospitality, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in stadium operations, facilities, hospitality, events, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors, internal departments, and event personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and respond effectively to changing event and operational needs.

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $65,000
