The Role
Represent borrowers in syndicated lending and other commercial finance transactions within a dedicated corporate debt teamHandle secured transactions, including asset based and cash flow credit facilities for sponsored and non sponsored borrowersDraft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, ancillary finance documentation, and closing deliverablesCoordinate deal execution across lenders, sponsors, portfolio companies, and internal practice groups on multiple concurrent mattersWork closely with partners on complex structures, gaining substantive ownership of transactions and client relationships
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Finance Associate Corporate Debt with:Substantive experience as a finance associate handling syndicated lending and commercial finance transactionsExperience with secured transactions and borrower side private equity sponsored and non sponsored credit facilitiesAdmission to the New York or California bar, or eligibility to gain admission promptlyExcellent academic credentials from a law school ranked in the top 50Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple transactions in the New York office
Compensation & Benefits
