Job Description

Job Role: TGT (Computers)

Location: Ansal Sushant Golf City, Lucknow

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and the KED Programme.
  • Develop students' understanding of computer applications, programming concepts, computational thinking, coding, data handling, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Integrate project-based, inquiry-based, and experiential learning methodologies.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Encourage creativity, innovation, logical reasoning, and problem-solving through practical activities and collaborative projects.

Personalised Learning & Coaching

  • Support personalised learning by helping students set academic goals and monitor their progress.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students.
  • Conduct coaching conversations to guide students in developing confidence, independence, and ownership of their learning.
  • Maintain individual student progress records and contribute to personalised learning plans where required.

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Design formative and summative assessments in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
  • Evaluate practical work, assignments, projects, presentations, and portfolios.
  • Analyse assessment data to identify learning gaps and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports within prescribed timelines.

Digital Learning & Innovation

  • Promote responsible and ethical use of technology among students.
  • Introduce emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Coding, Data Science, and Digital Design through age-appropriate activities wherever applicable.
  • Support integration of educational technology across subjects.
  • Encourage participation in coding competitions, hackathons, Olympiads, STEM initiatives, and technology exhibitions.

Classroom Management

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Maintain discipline through positive behaviour management practices.
  • Ensure effective use and maintenance of the Computer Laboratory and ICT resources.
  • Adhere to school policies related to digital safety and cybersecurity.

Professional Development

  • Participate actively in CBSE mandatory training programmes and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) initiatives.
  • Attend KED pedagogical training, workshops, coaching sessions, and collaborative planning meetings.
  • Stay updated with advancements in Computer Science education, emerging technologies, AI tools, coding platforms, and digital learning resources.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
  • B.Ed. is mandatory.
  • CTET/TET qualification is desirable as per applicable norms.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
  • Exposure to personalised learning, coding platforms, robotics, STEM education, or digital innovation programmes will be an added advantage.
  • Programming fundamentals (Python preferred; knowledge of Scratch and HTML/CSS is desirable). Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
