Seeking a mid-level General Liability Associate with 3–8 years of post-bar experience and an active Florida bar. This is not a clerkship or first-year seat.Our client is a national civil-defense firm with a major South Florida presence and a Miami office that still tries complex casualty cases. Partners in this market take files from inception through jury verdict. The culture is laid-back by defense-firm standards. The pay is $220K. Key Duties:Defend general liability, premises, and complex casualty matters in Florida courtsManage discovery, depositions, and motion practicePrepare for mediations, hearings, and trialAdvise carriers on exposure and strategyTake files from assignment through verdict or resolution
