A growing construction/restoration business is looking for an early-career Accounting & Billing Specialist to join its team.This could suit someone with around 1 year of accounting experience who wants to build broader experience across AP, AR, billing and collections within the construction industry.
What you’ll be doing:
Accounts payable and accounts receivablePreparing and processing customer invoicesFollowing up on outstanding balances and assisting with collectionsEntering and maintaining accounting information in QuickBooksSupporting project/job-related accountingReviewing invoices, payments and supporting documentationWorking with project teams and customers to resolve billing issuesLearning construction-specific processes including lien waivers, AIA billing and insurance-related documentationWhat we’re looking for:
Around 1+ year of AP, AR, billing or general accounting experienceQuickBooks experienceConstruction, restoration, xzbcwsv contracting, home services or another project-based industry strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and communication skillsSomeone looking to develop into a broader construction accounting role
Direct property-insurance experience is not required, the company is happy to train someone with the right accounting foundation and attitude.
