• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized and registered with PM&DC.

Experience

• PM&DC-recognized Level III postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology , such as FCPS, MS, MD, or an equivalent Level III qualification approved/recognized by PM&DC.

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Manage routine and emergency obstetric and gynaecological cases under appropriate clinical supervision.
• Conduct antenatal, postnatal, and gynaecological assessments and ensure appropriate patient management.
• Assist in obstetric and gynaecological procedures and surgeries as per institutional privileges and competencies.
• Participate in labour ward, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, and on-call duties.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, clinical audits, case discussions, and departmental academic activities.
• Support teaching and clinical training of postgraduate trainees, residents, house officers, and medical students.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient-safety standards, and professional ethics.
• Participate in research and quality-improvement activities of the department where required.
• Perform other clinical and academic duties assigned by the Head of Department.
