Commercial Vehicle Technician - Grimsby / North LincolnshireLocation: Grimsby / North LincolnshireSalary: £44,400Hours: 45 hours per weekContract: PermanentShift Pattern: Rotating early/late shifts + alternate Saturday morningsLooking for Your Next Commercial Vehicle Technician Opportunity?We're recruiting for experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Immingham.There are opportunities for HGV Technicians, LCV Technicians and full-range Commercial Vehicle Technicians, making this a great opportunity for technicians from a variety of commercial vehicle backgrounds.Working HoursThe role operates on a rotating shift pattern:Early Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pmLate Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-10:30pmAlternate Saturdays: 7:00am-12:00pmThe RoleAs a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard, helping to keep vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.Duties will include:Inspection and repair of commercial vehicles to DVSA standardsMOT preparation and presentationMechanical and electrical repairsDiagnostics and fault finding using specialist equipmentServicing and preventative maintenanceAttending breakdowns and carrying out off-site repairs when requiredCompleting accurate job records and paperworkWorking efficiently to minimise vehicle downtimeMaintaining high standards of safety and workmanshipAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or similar roleNVQ, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualificationMinimum 2 years' relevant experienceStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsHGV, LCV or commercial vehicle experienceFull UK Driving LicenceA reliable, professional and committed approachMain dealer experience would be advantageous, but technicians from all backgrounds will be considered.What's on Offer?Competitive salary depending on experience45-hour working weekRotating early and late shiftsAlternate Saturday morningsOvertime opportunitiesCall-out opportunitiesCompany pension22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysDeath in Service benefitOn-site parkingOngoing training and developmentLong-term career progressionSupportive workshop environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
