Role Description The Assistant Professor of Pharmacy role at GGI is a full-time, on-site position based in Khanna. The role involves delivering lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in core and elective pharmacy subjects, following the approved curriculum and academic standards. The faculty member will design lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, assess student performance through examinations and assignments, and provide constructive feedback. Responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, supervising projects and internships, and contributing to academic counseling. The role also involves participating in research activities, publishing scholarly work, engaging in departmental meetings, and supporting accreditation, quality assurance, and other institutional initiatives.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, including areas such as pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, and clinical pharmacy. Strong teaching abilities, including curriculum planning, classroom management, student assessment, and use of innovative pedagogical approaches. Research aptitude demonstrated through publications, conference participation, or ongoing projects in pharmacy or related disciplines. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Commitment to ethical practice, student mentorship, and continuous professional development in pharmacy education. Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) or a related field from a recognized institution; Ph D or evidence of doctoral progress is preferred. Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements relevant to pharmacy education and practice. Ability to engage in academic administration, committee work, and contribution to institutional growth.
