Plant Head – Manufacturing <br />Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan (Delhi NCR)<br />Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer <br />About S-CCI India Private Limited <br />S-CCI India Private Limited is a premier Indo-Japanese joint venture and an established manufacturer of automotive engine coolants, lubricants, brake fluids and specialty chemical products. <br />We have longstanding relationships with leading automotive OEMs and are entering an important phase of growth, capacity expansion and manufacturing transformation. Our operations include chemical blending, high-speed filling and packing, plastics manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and increasing levels of automation and digital integration. <br />We are seeking a capable, energetic and hands-on manufacturing leader to head our Bhiwadi plant. <br />The Role <br />The Plant Head will be responsible for the complete day-to-day performance of the manufacturing facility. <br />This is a highly visible, shop-floor-oriented leadership role. The successful candidate must be comfortable spending substantial time in production areas, working closely with departmental heads, resolving operational constraints and driving disciplined execution. <br />The Plant Head will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will have clear accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and People Development. <br />Key Responsibilities <br />Take complete responsibility for plant performance and daily manufacturing operations. <br />Lead all plant functions through their respective departmental heads, including: <br />Blending <br />Filling and Packing <br />Plastics Manufacturing <br />Engineering and Maintenance <br />Quality Systems <br />Production Planning <br />Warehousing <br />Logistics and Dispatch <br />Environment, Health and Safety <br />Plant HR <br />Manufacturing Excellence and 5 S <br />Deliver production plans while maintaining required quality, safety and customer service standards. <br />Improve plant productivity, throughput, capacity utilisation and Overall Equipment Effectiveness. <br />Reduce manufacturing losses, breakdowns, wastage, rejection and conversion cost. <br />Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5 S, Kaizen and structured continuous-improvement programmes. <br />Establish strong shop-floor discipline, visual management and housekeeping standards. <br />Lead daily production reviews and ensure rapid closure of operational issues. <br />Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance systems. <br />Coordinate effectively with Purchase, Finance, OEM Business, Sales, HR and other corporate functions. <br />Support the implementation of new machinery, automation, utilities and capacity-expansion projects. <br />Develop departmental heads, managers, engineers and supervisors. <br />Build a culture of ownership, accountability and problem-solving across the plant. <br />Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, safety and customer requirements. <br />Ideal Candidate Profile <br />Engineering graduate in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial or a related discipline. <br />Approximately 12–18 years of progressive manufacturing experience. <br />At least 4–6 years in a significant plant leadership or operations leadership role. <br />Experience in automotive, lubricants, chemicals, plastics, FMCG, packaging, consumer products or high-volume process manufacturing. <br />Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary manufacturing teams. <br />Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance, quality, logistics and cost control. <br />Practical exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5 S, Kaizen and continuous improvement. <br />Comfortable working in a fast-growing, performance-oriented and entrepreneurial organisation. <br />Strong analytical, communication, decision-making and people-management skills. <br />A visible and hands-on leader who prefers active shop-floor involvement over office-based supervision. <br />Success Measures <br />Performance in the role will be measured through: <br />Safety performance <br />Quality consistency <br />Production-plan achievement <br />Customer delivery and OTIF <br />OEE and equipment reliability <br />Productivity and capacity utilisation <br />Manufacturing cost per unit <br />Breakdown and downtime reduction <br />Wastage and rejection reduction <br />Plant housekeeping and 5 S scores <br />Employee discipline and engagement <br />Successful execution of improvement and expansion projects <br />Why Join S-CCI India?<br />This role offers the opportunity to lead a large and expanding manufacturing operation with significant autonomy and accountability. <br />The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and the COO to strengthen systems, upgrade capabilities and build a benchmark manufacturing organisation. <br />Compensation <br />An attractive leadership-level compensation package, including performance-linked incentives, will be offered to the right candidate.
