Salary: $90,000 - 119,000 per year Requirements:

• Advanced expertise in Appian process design, including Smart Services, gateways, subprocesses, exception handling, and reusable patterns.
• Advanced SAIL development and UI/UX skills for interfaces, forms, reports, dashboards, and reusable components.
• Advanced knowledge of Appian Records and Data Fabric, relational databases, CDTs, queries, and data modeling.
• Experience integrating Appian with JSON, Web APIs, Connected Systems, and enterprise data sources.
• Knowledge of IL5/IL6 development, CUI/PII protection, role-based and row-level security, and DAF compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead technical delivery, mentor developers, communicate with stakeholders, and achieve defect-free UAT outcomes.
• Current Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is desired; Appian Associate, Senior, or Lead Developer certifications are preferred.
• Experience leading Appian delivery in DAF, DoW, IL5, or IL6 environments is desired.
• Experience with Agile delivery, automated testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application lifecycle management is desired.
• Experience establishing Appian centers of excellence, governance, reusable design systems, and performance standards is desired.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least three years of experience planning, developing, and delivering Appian interfaces, processes, data models, records, and integrated solutions is required.

• Lead Appian solution architecture, design, development, integration, testing, release, and ongoing sustainment.
• Direct requirements analysis, backlog refinement, estimation, technical planning, design reviews, and solution demonstrations.
• Build Appian Process Modeler workflows using Smart Services, gateways, subprocesses, exception handling, and reusable patterns.
• Develop responsive SAIL interfaces, forms, dashboards, reports, records, and reusable UI components.
• Design Appian Records and Data Fabric solutions, relational data models, CDTs, queries, and data-access patterns.
• Integrate Appian with MariaDB, Oracle, SQL-based sources, JSON services, Web APIs, and Connected Systems.
• Implement CUI, PII, role-based and row-level security, auditability, and other DAF security and compliance measures.
• Set coding standards, reusable component practices, source-control methods, review checklists, testing expectations, and release controls.
• Lead code reviews, performance improvements, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Coordinate with product owners, users, data, cyber, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams to deliver complete capabilities.
• Maintain architecture, design, interface, data, security, testing, release, user, and sustainment documentation, and mentor developers.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership and mentoring.
