Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cardiologist role based in Bengaluru. The Cardiologist will evaluate and manage patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions through outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and emergency consultations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and cardiac imaging), developing treatment plans, and performing relevant cardiology procedures where applicable. The role involves collaborating with other specialists, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, counseling patients and families on prevention and lifestyle modification, and contributing to clinical documentation and quality improvement initiatives. The Cardiologist is expected to maintain high standards of clinical practice, adhere to hospital protocols, and support training and mentoring of junior medical staff when required.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with recognized postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MD or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience in internal medicine or related fields.
• Advanced expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders.
• Competence in Interventional Cardiology procedures such as angiography and angioplasty, with appropriate certifications and experience, as per role requirements.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine applications in cardiology (e.g., nuclear stress testing, myocardial perfusion imaging) and ability to interpret related studies.
• Skills in Vascular medicine and management of peripheral vascular diseases, with familiarity in relevant diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
• Valid medical license/registration with appropriate medical council, with eligibility to practice as a Cardiologist in India.
• Strong clinical judgment, evidence-based decision-making, and proficiency in documenting medical records accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working within multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients and families.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical practice, and adherence to hospital policies and quality standards.
