About the Role

Silver Consumer Electricals Limited is looking for an experienced Head – Quality to lead our overall Quality function across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Quality Management, QMS, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Process Quality and Continuous Improvement, preferably from the Pumps, Motors, Electrical, Engineering, Automotive or Consumer Electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Quality function including Incoming, In-Process, Final, Supplier and Customer Quality.
• Develop and implement Quality strategy, objectives and KPIs.
• Drive Zero Defect, First Pass Yield and Cost of Poor Quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable quality standards.
• Lead internal, external, customer and certification audits.
• Manage customer complaints, RCA, CAPA and 8D.
• Drive supplier quality improvement, supplier audits and corrective actions.
• Establish and improve SOPs, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, MSA and inspection standards.
• Reduce rejection, rework, scrap, customer PPM and warranty/field failures.
• Drive Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Purchase, PPC, R&D/Design and Maintenance teams.
• Lead, develop and mentor the Quality team.

Key Requirements

• 15–20+ years of relevant Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in handling Quality function at Plant/Business/Corporate level.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, RCA, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plan.
• Proven experience in Customer Quality and Supplier Quality Management.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Pumps, Motors, Electrical Products, Agri Equipment, Automotive or Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
