You will work across AWS cloud and edge deployments, driving platform reliability, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. </p><p>This role focuses on advancing platform capabilities through AI-driven automation, API lifecycle management, DevOps excellence, and operational support. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions while contributing to Siemens Energy’s digital transformation journey. </p> <p></p> <p></p><p><b><b>How You’ll Make an Impact </b> </b> </p> <p></p><p></p><p><b> </b></p><li>Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the IoT platform across AWS and edge environments, while managing the lifecycle of production APIs and factory-facing services. </li><li>Design and implement AI-driven automation, self-healing capabilities, intelligent workflows, and agent-based orchestration to improve operational efficiency. </li><li>Drive DevOps best practices through CI/CD optimization, Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK/CloudFormation), and deployment automation. </li><li>Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and operational improvements to maintain stable production environments. </li><li>Support containerized edge deployments and maintain technical documentation, architecture standards, and operational runbooks. </li> <p></p> <p></p><p><b><b>What You Bring </b> </b> </p> <p></p><p></p><p><b> </b></p><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or similar roles, with strong expertise in AWS. </li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK and CloudFormation), and automation-focused environments. </li><li>Strong Linux administration, Python scripting, Bash scripting, containerization, and troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Experience with API operations, cloud security, vulnerability management, and distributed system support. </li><li>Exposure to Agentic AI, workflow automation, and intelligent orchestration solutions. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a global environment. </li><li>Experience supporting IoT, manufacturing, or industrial digitalization platforms. </li><li>Knowledge of edge computing architectures and containerized workloads. </li><li>Experience designing AI-powered operational automation and self-healing systems. </li><li>Familiarity with large-scale distributed cloud-to-edge environments. </li> <p></p>
