Position: International Student Advisor – UK

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 1–3+ years in UK education counselling / international student recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students on UK universities, courses, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and career opportunities .
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences to recommend suitable UK institutions and programmes.
• Manage the complete student application process, including university shortlisting, applications, offer letters, and admissions documentation .
• Provide accurate guidance on the UK Student Visa process, documentation, financial requirements, and application procedures , within the scope of applicable regulations.
• Support students with CAS-related requirements, credibility interview preparation, and visa documentation .
• Maintain regular communication with students and ensure timely follow-up throughout the application journey.
• Coordinate with UK universities, admissions teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with changes in UKVI regulations, university policies, admission requirements, and immigration procedures .
• Assist students with pre-departure guidance, including accommodation, travel, arrival, and settling into life in the UK.
• Maintain accurate records of student applications, offers, visa outcomes, and follow-ups.
• Achieve individual and team targets for student applications, admissions, and enrolments while maintaining high standards of counselling and service.
• Build strong relationships with students and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in UK education counselling / international student recruitment / study-abroad consultancy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the UK higher education system and major UK universities.
• Good understanding of the UK Student Visa process and UKVI requirements .
• Excellent communication, counselling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple student applications simultaneously.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents.
• Good written and spoken English..
