<p>Job Summary: The PGW Auto Glass Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass products to customers on a designated route. This role includes safe handling of fragile glass, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently in compliance with all regulations. <b>Key Responsibilities and Duties:</b> This position is part-time. </p><ul><li>Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.</li><li>Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy</li></ul> and timeliness. * Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. <ul><li>Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.</li><li>Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.</li><li>Unload and assist customers with their deliveries, ensuring products arrive</li></ul> undamaged. <ul><li>Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery</li></ul> documents. * Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization, as needed. * Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent product damage and ensure workplace safety. * Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations. <b>Qualifications and Skills:</b> <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. (Medical DOT</li></ul> certification may be required to operate certain vehicles.) <ul><li>Previous delivery driving experience, preferably handling fragile materials.</li><li>Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use warehouse equipment</li></ul> such as forklifts and pallet jacks. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products. <ul><li>Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li></ul> <b>Work Environment and Physical Requirements:</b> <ul><li>Driving and delivering in various weather conditions.</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.</li><li>Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety</li></ul> glasses, and steel-toe boots. <ul><li>Handling fragile automotive glass products with precision and caution.</li><li>Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.</li></ul> <b>Benefits and Compensation:</b> * 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
