A well-regarded Southern California firm is looking to add a Construction Attorney to its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who wants to work on substantial project-related matters across both the transactional and disputes side, with exposure to major developments, strong client relationships, and a collaborative senior team.
The practice advises a broad range of participants in the building and infrastructure space, including owners, contractors, design professionals, lenders, and other key stakeholders. The work spans both public and private sector projects, with matters involving major civic, infrastructure, healthcare, energy, and commercial developments.

The roleAdvise clients through the full life cycle of construction projects, from contract preparation and negotiation through closeout and dispute resolutionHandle active disputes involving delays, disruption, change orders, payment issues, design-related claims, defaults, and project performance problemsWork on mediation, arbitration, and litigation involving sophisticated construction mattersCounsel clients on day-to-day project administration, risk management, and claims strategyAssist with procurement-related issues, contract compliance, and other project delivery concernsSupport clients across both public and private developments
Compensation & structureBase salary up to $400,000, depending on experienceBonus potential in addition to basePremium billing rates, with flexibility to support practice growth1,850 billable targetLos Angeles xzbcwsv / Orange CountyHybrid or remote flexibility available
