Job Title:Video Editor

\n

Location:Remote

\n

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

\n

Working Time :6am est - 3pm est.

About the Role:

\n

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into compelling videos that tell our brand story across social media, ads, and internal communications. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and current video trends.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n

Video Editing & Post-Production

\n

- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, ads, YouTube, website, and events

\n

- Add motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, music, and color grading

\n

Content Adaptation

\n

- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

\n

- Maintain brand consistency in tone, style, and quality across all videos

\n

Collaboration

\n

- Work with marketing, design, and content teams to understand project goals

\n

- Take briefs and deliver edits within agreed timelines

\n

Asset Management

\n

- Organize and archive footage, project files, and final exports

\n

- Stay updated on editing tools, trends, and platform best practices

\n

\n

Requirements & Qualifications:

\n

\n

Experience: 5+ years of professional video editing experience. Portfolio required

\n

Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and/or DaVinci Resolve

\n

Design Skills: Basic motion graphics and animation skills in After Effects is a plus

\n

Creative Skills: Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and sound design

\n

Other: Familiarity with social media formats and trends. Ability to work fast under deadlines

\n

Education: Degree/HND in Media, Film, Communications or related field preferred

\n

\n

Nice to Have:

\n

\n

Experience with shooting video on camera/phone

\n

Knowledge of audio mixing and color correction

\n

Experience editing for brands, agencies, or digital marketing

\n

\n
