Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bench Technician role based in Williston, VT. The Bench Technician will test, configure, and prepare systems for deployment in client environments. Daily responsibilities include installing applications, patching, performing backup and imaging of systems, and installing systems at client locations. All work is documented in service tickets or internal systems. The Bench Technician will collaborate with technical support staff, follow established security and quality procedures, and ensure that installed equipment meets performance and customer standards before Deploying it to clients or turning it over to another staff member.
QualificationsPrevious experience as a technician, computer repair tech, or system administrator.Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues and using test equipment to diagnose and validate repairs.Experience providing basic technical support related to computer systems and peripherals.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and best practices.Basic understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, and common IT equipment.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and help desk teams.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift or move computer equipment as required. xzbcwsv Relevant technical coursework, certification (e.g., CompTIA A+), or prior bench repair experience is preferred.
