We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide exceptional care to cancer patients through personalized treatment plans and advanced oncology practices.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Develop individualized treatment plans based on national and international clinical guidelines. Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and supportive care. Assess treatment response and modify management plans as required. Manage treatment-related side effects and oncological emergencies.

Clinical Practice Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings. Coordinate care with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists. Provide palliative and supportive care recommendations when appropriate.

Patient Counselling Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, expected outcomes, and possible side effects. Discuss preventive strategies, survivorship care, and follow-up plans. Maintain compassionate communication throughout the patient's treatment journey.

Clinical Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Ensure adherence to NABH standards, ethical practices, and hospital protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.

Academic & Professional Development Stay updated with the latest developments in oncology and cancer therapeutics. Participate in CMEs, conferences, workshops, and research activities. Contribute to patient education programs and awareness initiatives.

Required Qualifications MBBS MD/DNB (General Medicine) DM/DNB Medical Oncology (Mandatory) Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) registration.

Experience 3–10+ years of experience in Medical Oncology. Experience in a tertiary care hospital or comprehensive cancer centre is preferred.

Required Skills Expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills. Ability to manage oncology emergencies and treatment complications. Excellent communication and patient counselling skills. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/HIS). Strong teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
